THE PLANS AND WORK
TO BE UNDERTAKEN TO OFFER THE QUALITY EDUCATION TO ALL:
ANTHOLOGY OF STORIES:
We have
compiled a few moral stories, contemporary incidents, stories related to
Science Scholars and stories of sacrifice made by the freedom fighters for all
the trimesters with regard to content enrichment in order to imbibe the
optimistic attitudes in the minds of the young students.
We have
collected stories from our students through their parents and grandparents
which suit them perfectly. We have determined to ensure the following.
ü
Ensuring the pupils involvement in
learning activities with enthusiasm during the school hours.
ü
Ensuring the desirable behavioral
changes by adhering to the moral values.
ü
Ensuring the skill of creativity
among the pupils which will strengthen their imaginative power.
ü
Ensuring the state of the balanced
and poised mind of the pupils who were affected by the disputes and
disintegrity in their families.
ü Ensuring the enrichment of the language competencies both in Tamil and
English.
VIDEO CLASSES:
Ensuring the enrichment of the pupils
by video classes in order to make them understand the difficult areas in the
trimester right from 1st standard to Vth standard in all the
subjects.
AUDIO CLASSES:
We ensure
the right pronunciation by supplying the downloaded compact disks and recorded
CDs to our pupils by our teachers. English was a real challenge until a few
months ago. Now the pupils are bringing word lists to teachers and requesting
them to access the reading tool to teach them meanings and pronunciation. The
software has not only provided our pupils with the supplementary aid to improve
their pronunciation but succeeded in developing a keen interest in reading.
Ensuring
the fine rapport among the public by getting books free of cost from the
donors, educationists and equipping the school library with books and giving
them to our SMC, VEC members and the youth of our region
OPEN
LIBRARY:
We have
opened an avenue for our pupils in the premises of our school under the shadow
of a banyan tree. We provide the leading dailies, monthlies, journals,
periodicals both in Tamil and English in order to inculcate the habit of
reading and thereby updating the latest current affairs. Besides, this helps
them to overcome their mental stress and worries.
Extending
the school library by adorning new arrivals in the library with the regard to
the pupils' age and tastes in five standards. This will in turn create a taste
for reading books and visiting other libraries.
COMPUTER CLASSES:
There is
much talk about the effectiveness of technology as an aid for learning. We are
fully aware that technology is a credible solution which must be applied with
discipline and determination. We use technology to support the reading of
prescribed textbooks using multi-sensory software. We offer the golden
opportunities to our pupils to make use of the modern technologies like
Computer, Projector, Interactive White Board/Touch Board, Internet audio
systems which are available in our school.
Ensuring
the mass media learning through the internet facility available in the school.
Attempting
to take the pupils to field trips in the vicinity of the village to get direct
experience with regard to the content enrichment as shown clearly in ABL, ALM
and in CCE.
|
Making
the research attitude in the minds of bur pupils by arranging science
experiment classes and thereby creating chances for each and every pupil to do
the experiments individually.
\
Last year
we trained our pupils in folk activities by allowing their parents to take part
in various folks. The pupils felt as if they got great recognition. We have
resolved to incorporate our SMC members in the ensuing years in order to ease
the content in SABL, SALM.
ONEDAY LONG FIELDTRIP WITH PARENTS AND YOUTH:
There is
a very good opportunity to hold a fine rapport with the SMC, VEC members,
Parents of our pupils and the Youth of our village only when we make an
educational field trip to the places of historical importance, tourist spots
and other unique places across Tamilnadu. We did the same last year which bore
the best possible fruit. We have decided to continue the same in the subsequent
years so as to run the school smoothly.
To renew
the rapport with our alumni and alumnae we have planned to include our computer
graduates to give computer training particularly to our alumni and alumnae. We
thereby create and mould them as the responsible parents of tomorrow.
SPECIAL LEARNING ACTIVITIES:-
Ensuring
the fulfillment in studies pupils who need attention for attainment, special
coaching classes in the evenings will be arranged. Utmost care will be taken to
ensure the complete attainment in studies.
LEARNING-TEACHING (CWSN) FOR THE DISABLED:
Ensuring
the inclusive education for the pupils who join our school with the defects
like blind, deaf, dumb, physically challenged will be dealt with utmost care
and love. We have made up our mind to approach the government officials concerned regarding this issue and make necessary steps to get the benefits such as national
identity card, hearing aids, stipend to pursue their education, face life with
confidence and live independently without depending upon others.
SUPW:
Ensuring
the opportunity for delight and pleasure artistes who are expert in making
handicrafts like clay, paper, stick, etc...will be invited and asked to make
our pupils feel pleased in making them.
Ensuring
the literary competent, we plan to organize the Tamil literary club, English
literary club, Science Club, Mathematics Club, Eco- Club. The periodical
activities will be conducted every Friday and assessed as directed in the GO
No. 264. Spoken
English is given
due importance realizing the fact that the present world is highly competitive.
Besides, the students are properly guided to face the competitive exams in
their future.
Ensuring
the sports and games facilities for all pupils, necessary steps will be taken
to provide the sports goods and equipment under the proper guidance. This will
in turn create a very good team spirit and build good health. Keeping the view
in mind that exercises are more important in every one's life, all pupils will
be encouraged to participate in a large number.
Ensuring
the pursuance of yoga and meditation as per the instructions of the Education
Department, steps will be taken to monitor the yoga and meditation every day
and make the pupils feel the impact of them.
COSTFREE
THINGS, STIPENT:
We take
utmost care in implementing the costless schemes provided by the Government for
the welfare of students in time. The stipend which is mainly given to pursue
their education reaches the beneficiaries without any procrastination.
Ensuring
the creditability among the public, we organize umpteen functions in a small
way in order to bring out the latent potentialities of our pupils and thereby
they overcome shyness, fear and become orators, dancers and so on. This is very
well exhibited in our annual days and in our cultural programmers.
Ensuring
perfect sanitation in the school premises the pupils will be supplied things to
use in the school and monitored whether they are discarded in the dustbin and
insisted to keep the school clean and green always. This will help them to keep
the surroundings clean.
Ensuring
the reputation of the school, our teachers enter into the two hamlets which are
benefitted by our school. The teachers when they come to school they are asked
to come through a hamlet and when they leave the school they pass through
another village so that they can keep in touch with the parents and discuss
various prospects of their children. This will help us to maintain good
attendance, punctuality, basic needs, health care and the loss due to their
absence from the school.
GUIDANCE
AND COUNSELLING FOR SPECIAL PARENTS:
Offering
free guidance and counseling to the parents of affected families due to family
violation and other unwanted problems. This will help them to overcome their
problems and have a congenial atmosphere in their families. This will in turn
promote the progress of the pupils.
Ensuring
the transparency in subsidy and in learning and teaching process, we invite our
SMC, VEC members, Parents and the Youth to verify the expenditure and subsidy
given by the Government as shown in the audit.
